CARY P. GELLER, MBA, CPA, PFS, CFP

Cary is Executive Vice President of Mintz Levin Financial Advisors, LLC, which was founded in October 1998 to provide wealth management and investment advisory services to individuals and families. Mintz Levin Financial Advisors counsels clients on asset allocation and investment strategies and offers comprehensive, customized investment advisory and financial planning services. For seven consecutive years from 2004 to 2010, Wealth Manager Magazine chose Mintz Levin Financial Advisors as one of the nation's top wealth management firms.

Cary is a practicing financial planner with more than 25 years of broad-based experience in financial planning, individual tax planning, and money management. Previously, he was a principal of one of New England's largest, fee-only financial planning practices.

Cary has taught as an adjunct professor in Boston University's Financial Planning Program and he is currently a member of the program's board of advisors. He has lectured before numerous corporate, professional, and educational organizations, including the Financial Executives Institute, the Attorney General's Office of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Society of CPAs, and Harvard Law School. Cary speaks on a variety of financial planning topics, including estate planning and pre- and post-retirement planning.

Worth magazine selected Cary as one of the "Best Financial Advisors in the Country" in 1994, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, and again in 2008.* Recently, Cary was listed as a "Top Professional Advisor" in J. K. Lasser's New Rules for Estate and Tax Planning book. He was included in Boston Magazine's list of "Five Star Wealth Managers" in 2010 and 2011.* He has been regularly quoted and featured in the Boston Globe, Boston Herald, Banker and Tradesman, and Business Week, and has been a guest financial planning professional on local radio and TV programs.

Cary graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BBA, summa cum laude, in accounting and quantitative analysis, and he received his MBA from Indiana University with an emphasis in Taxation. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner, and a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS). Cary is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and the Boston Estate Planning Council.
