JANET TIGHE, MBA, CFP

Janet is a Senior Financial Advisor/Principal for Mintz Levin Financial Advisors, LLC.

Janet is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner with extensive experience in investment management products and in developing asset allocation proposals for high-net-worth clients. She has a wide range of bank managerial experience; for example, she led a unit that provided technical and analytical support to investment sales managers for the sale of investment portfolios. Janet also has experience with tax, retirement, and estate planning as well as reviewing insurance needs. She provides ongoing client relationship management and monitors and evaluates plan performance for clients.

Janet's writing has been featured in Women's Business Boston; her piece entitled "Put Your Retirement 401(k) to Work" was published in the May 2006 edition. This article offered investors tips on how to best choose their financial advisor and how to make smart retirement planning decisions. Janet has appeared on Boston's FOX25 TV news broadcasts on multiple occasions to discuss financial planning topics. The Comcast cable channel CN8 show Your Morning featured Janet in a forum where she discussed investors' responses to stock market volatility. She has been quoted in articles in Money and Fortune magazines, the Boston Business Journal, and the Boston Herald.

Janet earned her BS, summa cum laude, from Rider University and her MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.

CFP and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM marks are certification marks owned by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. These marks are awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
